Strong Mahogany Body

The V-1’s body is crafted from high quality Mahogany and given a V shape with a flat top, creating a visually stunning look that will stand out. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood provides the guitar with an excellent amounts of depth and helps produce an incredible sustain. With black hardware, and a Floyd Rose bridge, the guitar is given a gloss black finish with a blood splatter graphic to create an incredible look, reflecting the powerful tones it creates.

Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fingerboard

The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed to provide a smooth, fast play, perfect for shredding and playing lead. The Mahogany/Ebony combination produces tight, warm tones that are defined and open with a fast attack. The two woods provide the guitars sound with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy, sizzling highs. It also comes with many other features including Grover machine heads, 22 X-Jumbo frets and a Floyd Rose nut to increase tuning stability.

EMG Pickups

The Special Edition V-1 features an EMG 81 humbucker situated at the guitars bridge, and an EMG 89R dual-pickup at the neck, offering both humbucker and single coil pickup. The EMG 81 features powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils to deliver an intensely detailed tone with a high end cut and fluid sustain, perfect for leads to cut through the mix. The EMG 89R pickup, offers a humbucker based on the EMG 89, but with reversed coils, and a single coil pickup. When switched to humbucker, the pickup produces a rich, warm, powerful tone that’s clear and articulate, and when in single coil mode the pickup produces a traditionally bright, airy tone that’s similar to the EMG SA.

Floyd Rose Tremolo System

Floyd Rose are one of the leading manufacturers of guitar bridges, using top of the range design techniques to craft outstanding quality parts. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose 1500 series allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. The bridge works in tangent with the locking nut for increase string stability and prevents the strings from detune after excessive bending.
