Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is a Mexican/American musician that fused rock and Latin influences to create his own unique sound with the iconic band Santana. With a hugely successful career that spans over 40 years Carlos has used a variety of electric guitars before being approached by PRS founder Paul Reed Smith in 1976 and falling in love with the beautiful craftsmanship, fantastic sound and smooth playability of PRS guitars.

The incorporation of a three top, three bottom machine head pattern helps to reduce sympathetic vibrations by allowing less room between the nut and machine heads to deliver a pure and charismatic tone.
