The Ibanez RGIB6 is designed for effortless playability, making it ideal for metal. It offers a neck specification aimed at high-performance, speed and comfort. It features a Nitro Wizard neck that is super-thin, ultra-playable, and durable. The guitar features a 28'' scale neck that helps to ensure a full, rich tone and superior intonation for the heavier gauge strings. The fretboard features 24 jumbo frets to provide you with a wide tonal range. The Gibraltar Standard II bridge helps provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration. The RGIB6 also features a killswitch, which provides easy access to a manually controlled strobe effect.
The Ibanez RGIB6 comes equipped with EMG 60 and 81 pickups. The 60 humbucker packs plenty of output with a great overall balance of thick, boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs, full of rich harmonic overtones and plenty of sustain. The EMG 81 humbucker offers a tone with detailed intensity, and insane amounts of high-end cut and fluid sustain that will cut right through the densest mix.
