The tonal adjustments you can make are vast and incredibly easy to achieve. With a simple set of dip switches and push/pull configuration for your pickups, you gain access to 150 combinations that can tailor the sound of the Pro series pickups. So, you might find your amp has too much fundamental bass? No problem, simply engage the high pass filter which is available for both pickups! Maybe you need a funkier out of phase tone? Again, no problem, being able to flip phase and split your coils means those tones are available on tap. There are combinations here that will result in new sounds year after year.

From the aluminium Tune-O-Matic and tailpiece to the truss-rod, and adjustable ‘zero fret’ nut, you can set up this guitar to fit perfectly for you. This ability to adjust this guitar for you will make playing effortless. Combine this with the incredible asymmetrical neck which is designed to fit your hand – This is something all manufacturers need to catch up with.

Bringing home the power

This is still a Gibson Les Paul and a Les Paul means power. This Gibson is loaded with Rhythm Pro and Lead Pro+ pickups are based on the classic ‘50s P.A.F’s, but with much-improved clarity and way less noise!

The Lead Pro+ is incredibly snappy and responsive, eliciting lush treble and clarity that never gets harsh. This gives your leads and solos all the bite and authority that is needed to permeate the densest of mixes. Next up is Rhythm Pro fitted in the neck position. Perfectly balancing the tone of the Lead Pro+, your guitar will open-up, spilling smooth, lush tones from your amplifier that are as addictive to play as they’re beautiful to hear – Compromise has no place here.

A Les Paul without the backache?

The cherry on the proverbial cake is the incredible weight reduction Gibson managed to achieve. This is light enough to throw around a stage (if you really wanted to do that) and not make you ache afterwards. The chambering also gives this guitar way more resonance which only sweetens the tone, opening-up the midrange, allowing your guitar to breathe.
