Burstbucker Rhythm Pro & Lead Pro+ Pickups

The 2019 Gibson Guitar is equipped with a set of powerful Burstbucker Pro pickups, with the Rhythm Pro which offers incredible tones at the neck while the Lead Pro+ delivers sharp attack in the bridge position. These humbuckers are designed with Alnico V magnets to deliver a fat tone, with plenty of drive and attack for producing powerful chords and solos. Delivering a classic Gibson PAF tone, the pickups feature extra noise reduction to keep things quiet even in a high-gain rig.

Recognisable Les Paul Tone & Look

This Gibson Les Paul Standard HP Guitar is crafted with a rich mahogany body, along with an upgraded AAA+ flamed maple top. The use of maple provides a stylish tiger stripe effect, adding striking and unique aesthetics. The Les Paul also features fret-over-binding along the edge, which adds to the appearance as well as offering a wider playing area.

Ultra Modern Weight Relief

The Gibson Les Paul Standard HP features an ultra-modern weight relief chambered body for extra comfort and an enhanced resonance. This weight-relief process involves routing nine round holes in the mahogany body before the stunning maple top is attached. These holes are strategically placed in the lower bouts on the bass-side of the guitar, offering you a comfortably lightweight guitar that can be played all night long.

Asymmetrical Slim Taper Neck Profile

The asymmetrical design provides one of the most comfortable and playable necks ever offered on any guitar. This ergonomic profile is tapered and designed to be thicker on the bass side, and thinner on the treble side. This design closely outlines the natural form of the hand as it grips the neck, offering a comfortable performance. The neck is made from mahogany bringing strength and enhanced warmth, whilst the richlite fingerboard provides a more sustainable tonewood that offers smooth play.

Upgraded, Reliable Hardware

The Les Paul Standard HP provides a stable and reliable tone with Gibson and Grover hardware. The Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge features wide footing for increased intonation range, and it is paired with a lightweight aluminium stopbar tailpiece. There are also Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners on-board that keep your tone in tune throughout the night.

Now, the Les Paul Standard is recognised at THE Gibson model that has been played by many of music's greats.
