The Epiphone Stagebird brings its classic design into the modern era, fitted with a state-of-the-art magnetic stagebird humbucker to help project its sound for large stages. With only a 1/4'’ output jack and master volume, simply plug in and play to achieve amplified tones. The humbucker is designed to accurately pick up the historic tone of the banjo, helping retain its classic sound while delivering incredibly clear, crisp amplification.
Although the Stagebird Banjo is built for the modern player, its design originates from the 1920s, when the founder of Epiphone released a line of modern banjos to help set up his company as a leading manufacturer of premium instruments. Its classic headstock recreates the traditional look of the late 20s and 30s, while its overall design delivers the same historic sound that many players fell in love with. Its more modern features include Grover tuners for easy tuning, an adjustable tailpiece that accepts both loop and ball end strings, and dual coordination rods for a full and even intonation across the neck. A Remo head coupled with the mahogany resonator maximises the banjos volume and tone acoustically, perfect for Jazz and Bluegrass.
