This ESP LTD Stephen Carpenter Electric Guitar is loaded with a pair of Fishman Fluence SRC Signature Pickups in the middle and bridge position. This pickup set is active and each pickup features two distinct voices that can be selected via the push/pull volume control. Voice 1 produces a pure and clean tone, with plenty of aggression and crunch, while voice 2 provides a full-sounding, hot tone with edge that is ideal for heavy metal styles. For the middle alnico pickup, players can push down for 'Modern Active' tone or pull for 'Modern Passive Attack' for a wider tonal range.
The ESP LTD SC608B is crafted from mahogany and features a double cutaway for easier access to the higher frets. The mahogany body enhances the sound with richness and resonance, as well as a excellent sustain.
The ESP LTD SC608B features a 3-piece maple neck which is sturdy, strong and more resistant to warping than classic 1 piece necks. Maple offers a bright and clear tone with sweet sustain, while the rosewood fingerboard brings warmth, articulation and richness to soften the overall sound. With the addition of two extra strings, this 8 string guitar offers an extended range for more sonic possibilities.
