Featuring a pair of DMT Design humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position, the V 79 delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and highs. The DMT Design humbuckers are perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres, and particularly excel when used for hard rock.

Mahogany Body

The mahogany body creates a warm and rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, for a long lasting investment. Mahogany has distinct tonal characteristics, for a full and deep sound with plenty of bite. The resonant tone makes it an ideal companion for punchy rock music, and metal alike.

Solid & Reliable Hardware

The Dean V 79 includes solid Grover tuners with a reliable tune-o-matic bridge to give gig-worthy stability and sustain. The speed knobs not only look great, but provide easy adjustments to volume and tone when performing.

Smooth, Comfortable Neck

The Dean V 79 guitar has a large, V-shaped headstock, which provides increased string angles and string length which contributes to the overall sustain.
