Mahogany Body & Solid Spruce Top

The Dean Michael Schenker Performer is constructed from solid Mahogany back and sides with set in Mahogany neck for an extremely warm and rich tonality. Mahogany is a dense wood with a close grain providing a punchy and projective tone with a distinctive woody characteristic whilst the solid Spruce top delivers crisp and bright characteristics to the tone.

Dean 2NR Preamp

Incorporating a powerful and versatile Dean 2NR preamp the Schenker Performer can easily be connected to amplifiers and PA systems making it perfect for live performers. The Dean 2NR Preamp system also features a range of built in controls such as a 3-band EQ, presence control and volume control which allow you to shape your tone before the signal even reaches the amplifier. Perfect for quick tone adjustments between songs the 2NR Preamp also has a built in tuner with LED display for seamless tuning adjustments on the fly.

About Michael Schenker

Born in 1955, Michael Schenker is a German guitarist famous for his lead playing with rock giants UFO and Scorpions. Having played his first gig at the young age of 11 Michael Schenker is an iconic rock guitarists who has released many studio and live albums over the years, both with bands and his solo project. In 2007 Michael Schenker received an endorsement from Dean guitars and has since released a series of signature guitars in a range of styles and custom specifications.
