Laminated Flamed Maple Body

The EX59’s laminated, flamed Maple body is an excellent tonewood for hollow-bodied guitars as it offers excellent tightness and clarity, whilst providing an overly bright tone with the perfect amount of sustain to keep things precise and produce ideal amounts of balance between strings. The Maple provides the EX59 with a well-balanced and even tone with light lows, and is bound together with a 5 ply on the top and 3 ply on the bottom to deliver a visually stunning instrument.

Hard Maple Neck with a Walnut Centre

The Maple neck with Walnut centre plays like a dream, enabling your tone to cut through pleasantly without being overly aggressive or tinny. Prized for its beauty, the Maple neck offers brightness to the guitar's tone, helping to fill the sustain to provide a strong sound whilst the Rosewood fingerboard maximises its volume and projection, providing openness and warmth.

P-90 Bridge and Neck Pickups

D’Aneglico’s EX59 electric guitar features two P-90 pickups situated at both neck and bridge to deliver a bright, clear tone that offers great articulation and has excellent sensitivity to provide a full bodied resonance with strong mids and beautiful lows. The neck pickup provides a clear tone that’s free from bass and stays controlled across the strings making it excellent for playing single notes as they remain full and round which is good for playing jazz and blues, whilst the bridge pickup provides a solid thump at the bottom end with surprising amounts of twang.
