Traditional Spanish Fan System

The Classical guitar body shape features a Spanish origin as they are common for the typical Flamenco style associated with them. The Alvarez AC65HCE Electro Classical Guitar is equipped with a Traditional Spanish Fan System, which is a typical characteristic from Spain and applied to all Spanish guitars. This method features part of the guitar neck remaining inside the body when the guitar is constructed, providing the Spanish heel. As well as providing a traditional appearance, the main purpose of this particular type of bracing delivers enhanced sonic properties, better stability, along with durability.

Solid A+ Western Red Cedar Top

This hand-selected, quarter-sawn western red cedar top provides the perfect soundboard, which is particularly ideal for fingerstylists with a lighter touch. Compared to other tonewoods like spruce, cedar is less dense and delivers a warm tone. Cedar works well with a lighter touch, and provides a powerful tone which is perfect for Flamenco style playing. In addition, this stunning top is combined with a dark mahogany body, which adds to the warm tone of the cedar, and enhances the fullness.

LR Baggs StagePro EQ and Element Pick Up

Like many guitars from Alvarez, the AC65HCE is equipped with a LR Baggs StagePro EQ and Element Pick Up that delivers a powerful volume for larger events. This innovative Element was engineered to mirror the soundboard’s actual movement as you play, and features a flexible film sensor only 2 thousandths of an inch thick which picks up the guitar’s most delicate nuances. Furthermore, its discreet EQ sidemount located on the upper bout, allows you to effortlessly achieve the perfect tone, and also tune up with its additional built-in tuner.

Authentic Real Bone Nut Delivers Enhanced Sustain

With its warm and delicate tone, this electro classical guitar also features a real bone nut, which maintains its authentic appearance and offers excellent resonance and sustain. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
