Stagg Vintage T Custom Electric Guitar is built with an alder body, a classic wood choice for this style of guitar. Not especially dense, it's a lightweight, closed-pore wood that has a resonant, balanced tone brighter than other hardwoods, with a little more emphasis in the upper midrange. It imparts excellent sustain and sharp attack.

Maple is the first choice of tonewood for this classic style of guitar. This dense wood is hard-wearing and produces a bright, zesty tone with lots of sustain. It offers a tight top end with a reflective sound. The rosewood fingerboard produces a mellow tone, It is a very porous wood, much softer than others such as maple.
