Keeley’s reverb pedal offers a whole variety of different reverberations, and with four different control knobs to shape it the way you want. The pedals decay knob offers control over the reverb's decay, providing a range of different decays. The decay can provide a realistic close quarter’s reverberated dimension to complex “still ringing” musical reflections. The slapback knob controls the reverb's pre-delay, setting the amount of delay in between each reverberation to create distance.

The pedals warmth control provides the reverb with more warmth when it is dialled up. This control acts as a dampening control, offering a brighter sound when it id dialled down. Finally the blend knob provides control over the amount of reverb is added to your 100% analogue dry mix. This control makes the Keeley aurora reverb perfect for going at the end of your effects chain, since it allows you to tailor your sound.

Hall, Plate, and Room Modes

The Keeley Aurora features three different modes to choose from, depending on what type of reverb you desire. The first mode is hall, which simulates the reverberation found in big spaces, such as offering the resonance found in a cathedral. The second mode is plate, which offers the reverberation found from surface areas that are sheets of metal. The final mode is room, offering the reverberations of rooms that most people have access to, and providing a convincing room decay. This mode can vary in room size, going from broom closet to the size of a barn, depending on what you are after.
