Superior Shell Technology (SST)
Pearl's Export Series implements their Superior Shell Technology. Using a proprietary technique to create the most efficient air chamber possible, each wood has been chosen due to its acoustic properties and crafted using advanced construction methods to achieve an air-tight fit. Every wood ply is saturated with Pearl's 'AcoustiGlue' which dries to an exact consistency for maximum resonance. The plies are finally formed in high-temperature moulds under extreme pressure to produce shells which support the perfect balance between strength, exceptional tonal warmth and remarkable resonance.
