The A1R features Yamaha's advanced SRT pickup system, designed to allow players to access sounds that previously were only available in professional studios. The SRT system takes the natural sound of a guitar, and then models some of the most famous vintage microphones. The result is a recording and performing tone of the highest quality, available to every player.
Yamaha A-Series
This guitar is part of Yamaha's A-series range, the result of thousands of hours of development, prototyping, evaluations and field-testing combined with more than 50 years experience in crafting guitars. The A-Series construction was designed with input from players, luthiers and technicians with one goal in mind - to produce stunning tone. Rosewood provides striking low frequencies and sparkling highs, and the resonant dreadnought body assures a well projected and assured voice. This tone is then rendered and modelled by a 3-band EQ and preamp system, producing a studio-quality sound wherever you go.
