The Epiphone 335 Pro features their rock solid hardware with Alnico Classic PRO 4-wire humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. This gives the 335 Pro tones which would be out of reach for a classic ES-335. These pickups feature Alnico V magnets which provide huge humbucker sustain with an impressive dynamic range that can switch from clean to blues at a touch. Plus, the Epiphone 335 Pro now features coil tapping on both pickups via a push/pull control on the pickups' volume controls.
The Dot Studio is also equipped with a smooth mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, helping to expand the guitar's rich tonal properties with extra focus and warmth. The neck provides an incredibly focused midrange for a thick, meaty mid-section, while the fingerboard adds plenty of depth by expanding the lows and highs. The combination of mahogany and rosewood offers a well-balanced tone with a beautifully dynamic range and overtones that stack up to offer a luscious bloom for extra depth.
The Epiphone ES-335 guitar includes all metal, full function volume and tone knobs with full size 500k potentiometers matched with Epiphone's rugged, all metal 3 way toggle pickup selector switch for long lasting performance. This limited edition 335 Pro also features Wilikinson Vintage Classic 14:1 tuners for lifetime security and Epiphone's exclusive LockTone tune-o-matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece for a killer sustain.
The Epiphone 335 Pro is a limited edition guitar, which is only available in selected retailers. The guitar is a new take on the revolutionary semi-hollowbody archtop, with all the classic ES-335 features. An ES-style body with Alnico Classic PRO humbucker pickups, the new ES-335 PRO semi-hollowbody from Epiphone turns back the clock while breaking new ground in sound and style.
